Mini repair
Minor Repairs for Minor Defects
Fast repair of eligible spindle sensors, encoders, cylinders and drawbars without replacing bearings.
A faulty encoder, temperature sensor, tool-positioning sensor, leaking cylinder or broken drawbar may not require a complete rebuild. Eligible defects can often be repaired in hours and receive priority handling.

When is a mini repair appropriate?
A mini repair is intended for a spindle that ran well before a distinct minor defect appeared, without prior surface-finish problems, unusual noise, excessive vibration or hot bearings.
Pan-Am repairs the defect, tests the spindle, dynamically balances it and returns it as quickly as possible. Bearings are not replaced because doing so requires the major disassembly associated with a rebuild.
- Faulty encoder or sensor
- Stuck tool or damaged drawbar
- Leaking cylinder
- Defective bearing-temperature or analog sensor
Describe the symptoms before shipping
